Micro-wax is a mixture of semi-solid hydrocarbons extracted from oil that can have a stabilizing body. It is a pale-yellow mass that has a very slight fluorescence after melting, and is thin in the cortex and is almost odorless and flavorful.
The micro-wax that is used to make Vaseline and all kinds of cosmetic materials should be pure, light yellow, odorless, with a feeling of fat when touched and completely light so that it stays on the water and the microscopic crystal is transparent that is often angular and its corners are clearly identified under the microscope. It is also completely insoluble in water and in dilute and alkaline acids.
